Some server adjustments today; I removed the second network interface card (NIC), since the rest of the computer obviously didn’t care at all for my needs of more bandwidth. In other words, my NIC-bridge experiment failed hard! Looks like I have to build another baby and my mind is set on a pure fileserver machine this time. Since Beatrice is working so very well, I really don’t want to replace her. So, I guess her future tasks will probably be routing and web serving. And then I need the camera server… and then… *sigh* I’d be a perfect millionaire.

Well, I also removed one of my memory modules, since I’m building a simple computer for my sister. Obviously, I don’t feel very good about downgrading the RAM in Beatrice, but it’s only temporary until I get new ones.
